What kind of medicine is Cipro antibiotic?
Cipro belongs to antibiotic group called fluoroquinolones. It's main goal is to fight against body's bacteria. Cipro xr stops the bacteria's essential proteins generation.

What is the most important information I should know about Cipro?

Tearing or swelling of a sinew (the connecting fiber between bones and muscles), particularly in the heel string are the Cipro's possible side effects. They are widespread among people with a heart, lung or kidney transplant, elders (under 60 years old) and patients taking oral steroid drugs. If you feel pangs, rigidity, painfulness, or motion joint problems, you should avoid taking Cipro immediately and contact a specialist. Keep the joint in rest, before you receive doctor's instructions or medical care. Sharing Cipro with another sick person (particularly a kid), even with the same signs is not recommended.
